Conic utilizes so-called guardians, which are members of the Curve ecosystem that have the ability to instantly pause Conic Omnipools. When an Omnipool is paused, all deposits are disabled until the pool is unpaused. Conic Omnipools are unpaused after an 8 hour cool down period, which may get extended if longer pauses are required. Security of LPs is the absolute priority of the Conic core team. The role of guardians is to act as an additional safety layer that can respond in emergency situations.

Current guardians include:

  • - Curve

  • - Conic

  • - Conic

  • - Conic

  • - Conic

Guardians can be proposed via governance votes.
